Obadiah wrote the shortest book in the Old Testament, ending with the promise that the kingdom shall be the LORD's. The name is also borne by a faithful official in Ahab's court who feared God greatly and hid a hundred prophets from persecution.
Stately and meaningful, Obadiah means servant of the LORD.
