Learning to Trust God

A 7-day plan on trusting God when you can't see the way — leaning on Him rather than your own understanding.

Part of Verse Collections

  1. Day 1 / 7

Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.
    Proverbs 3:5–6, KJV

Trust rests your weight on God's wisdom rather than your own limited grasp of things — and He directs the path as you go.

  2. Day 2 / 7

What time I am afraid, I will trust in thee.
    Psalm 56:3, KJV

Trust isn't the absence of fear; it's what you do with it. When fear comes, aim it: I will trust in thee.

  3. Day 3 / 7

Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee.
    Isaiah 26:3, KJV

Perfect peace is tied to where your mind rests. Fix your thoughts on God rather than the problem, and a peace beyond your circumstances settles in.

  4. Day 4 / 7

Commit thy way unto the LORD; trust also in him; and he shall bring it to pass.
    Psalm 37:5, KJV

Each day you can commit your way to God and trust Him to work — a handing-over that frees you from carrying the weight of outcomes alone.

  5. Day 5 / 7

The LORD is good, a strong hold in the day of trouble; and he knoweth them that trust in him.
    Nahum 1:7, KJV

God is good, and a stronghold in the day of trouble. There's an intimacy in trust — He knows those who lean on Him.

  6. Day 6 / 7

Blessed is the man that trusteth in the LORD, and whose hope the LORD is.
    Jeremiah 17:7, KJV

There's a deep well-being that comes simply from trusting God — a blessedness that doesn't depend on circumstances.

  7. Day 7 / 7

And they that know thy name will put their trust in thee: for thou, LORD, hast not forsaken them that seek thee.
    Psalm 9:10, KJV

Trust grows out of knowing God. The more you learn His faithful character, the more naturally you'll rely on Him.
