Seven Days of God's Promises

A week anchored to what God has actually said — one promise a day to build on.

Part of Verse Collections

  1. Day 1 / 7

Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.
    Isaiah 41:10, KJV

The promise most often needed first: fear thou not, for I am with thee. Presence, strength, help, upholding — four pledges in one verse. Start the week standing on it.

  2. Day 2 / 7

But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.
    Philippians 4:19, KJV

Not some need, but all your need — supplied according to his riches, not your resources. Bring today's shortfall to the God whose supply has no ceiling.

  3. Day 3 / 7

For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.
    Jeremiah 29:11, KJV

Thoughts of peace, and not of evil — God's disposition toward you is kind, and the end he expects is good. Whatever today looks like, it sits inside that intention.

  4. Day 4 / 7

Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.
    Matthew 11:28, KJV

Come unto me — the promise wears an invitation. Rest is not earned by finishing the labour but received by coming to the Person. Come, heavy laden, exactly as you are.

  5. Day 5 / 7

And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.
    Romans 8:28, KJV

All things — even the ones that are not good in themselves — worked together for good. This is not optimism; it is providence. Trust the Weaver with today's tangled threads.

  6. Day 6 / 7

Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.
    Hebrews 13:5, KJV

I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee — five negatives piled up in the Greek, as if God cannot say it emphatically enough. You are un-abandonable.

  7. Day 7 / 7

For all the promises of God in him are yea, and in him Amen, unto the glory of God by us.
    2 Corinthians 1:20, KJV

All the promises of God in him are yea, and Amen. Every promise this week is signed in Christ. End by thanking him for the one you needed most — and keep it in your pocket.
