The Morning Psalm
7-day reading plan

Who You Are in Christ

A 7-day plan on your true identity — who God says you are, once you belong to Him. Truer than any other voice.

Part of Understanding the Bible

  1. Day 1 / 7

Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.
    2 Corinthians 5:17, KJV

In Christ you are genuinely new — a new creature, with old things passed away. You don't have to drag the old record into your new life.

  2. Day 2 / 7

But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:
    John 1:12, KJV

The moment you received Christ, you were given a new status: a child of God — welcomed into the family for good.

  3. Day 3 / 7

For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.
    Ephesians 2:10, KJV

You are His workmanship — the word is the root of 'poem.' Not an accident to be managed, but a work of art with a purpose.

  4. Day 4 / 7

But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people
    1 Peter 2:9, KJV

Chosen. Royal. Holy. God's treasured possession. This is your standing on your worst day as much as your best.

  5. Day 5 / 7

There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus
    Romans 8:1, KJV

In Christ, the verdict over your life is already settled — no condemnation. You can stop bracing for judgment and live as one already accepted.

  6. Day 6 / 7

I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me
    Galatians 2:20, KJV

Your old self was crucified with Christ, and now He lives in you. The life you live is no longer powered by you alone, but by Him.

  7. Day 7 / 7

Nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
    Romans 8:39, KJV

Nothing — no failure, fear, or force in the universe — can separate you from God's love. Your identity in Him is secure and permanent.
