Mount Nebo is where Moses climbed at the end of his life, and God showed him the whole promised land spread out before him — a land he had led the people toward for forty years but would not himself enter.
Nebo is a poignant place of both fulfilment and limitation — a leader seeing the promise from afar, and trusting God to bring his people the rest of the way home.
