Praise lifts our eyes
When we praise God, we turn our attention from our problems to his greatness. 'Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise.' Praise reorients us, shrinking our worries by lifting our eyes to a God far bigger than them. It changes our whole perspective.

Praise in every season
The Bible calls us to praise 'continually' — not only when life is easy. 'By him therefore let us offer the sacrifice of praise to God continually.' Praise in hard times is called a sacrifice because it costs us something, and it's especially powerful — declaring God's goodness even when we can't feel it.
Praise strengthens faith
Praising God builds our faith by reminding us of who he is and what he's done. It fills the heart with gratitude, drives out fear and discouragement, and draws us near to God. Many have found that when they began to praise in a dark season, their hearts began to lift.
The power of praise is that it changes us — lifting our eyes from our problems to God's greatness, strengthening our faith, and drawing us near to him. It belongs in every season, including the hard ones, where it becomes a costly but powerful sacrifice. Make praise a habit, and you'll find it transforms your perspective and your heart. We were made to worship — and in praising God, we become more fully alive.
