Jesus' rule of stewardship is disarmingly simple: he that is faithful in that which is least is faithful also in much. Character is proven in small denominations.
Today will hand you mostly little things: minor tasks, small sums, short conversations. It is tempting to save faithfulness for larger stages. Jesus says the little things are the stage.
Do the small things wholly today — the unnoticed job done honestly, the minor promise kept. In his accounting, that is how much is prepared for.
