Paul blesses the Father of mercies, and the God of all comfort. All comfort — every genuine consolation you have ever received traces to him.
And comfort has a circulation system: he comforts us so that we may comfort others with the same comfort. Your hardest seasons, once held by God, become supplies for someone else's.
Receive what you need today, and keep an eye out for the person your old comfort was meant for. In his economy, consolation is always travelling.
