Tucked into James's sternest chapter is one of Scripture's gentlest supply lines: but he giveth more grace. More than yesterday used. More than today will need.
Grace is not a tank you drain but a river that keeps arriving. The only posture that misses it is pride — God resisteth the proud — because pride does not hold out its hands.
Come lowly, then, and come often. Humility is simply standing where the grace lands.
