Even Samuel misjudged by height and bearing. God's correction stands over every human measuring system since: man looketh on the outward appearance, but the LORD looketh on the heart.
This cuts two ways, and both are grace. The impressive surface you cannot maintain — God was never grading it. The unseen faithfulness nobody applauds — God has seen every bit.
Live today for the eyes that see the heart. It is a quieter audience, and a kinder one.
