The Lord is my helper
By Niall Florence · 23 August 2026 · 1 min read
So that we may boldly say, The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me.
Because God has said never leave, never forsake, Hebrews says we may boldly say: the Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me.
Notice the chain: his promise first, our boldness second. Courage is not self-talk; it is repeating back what God has committed himself to. The saying out loud matters — faith gets sturdier when spoken.
Say it over whatever intimidates you today. Helper is one of God's oldest job titles, and he has never once resigned.
