He thinks of you

But I am poor and needy; yet the Lord thinketh upon me: thou art my help and my deliverer; make no tarrying, O my God.
David does not pretend strength: I am poor and needy, he says plainly. Then comes the turn that changes everything — yet the Lord thinketh upon me.
Right now, amid everything he governs, God's thoughts include you. Not a file he will get to; a person he holds in mind. Poverty of spirit and the attention of God co-exist in the same sentence.
Carry that into today: whatever you lack, you are thought of. It is hard to feel abandoned and remembered at the same time — and you are remembered.
