The Morning Psalm
Encouragement

Held by a stronger hand

6 July 2026 · 1 min read

Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.
Isaiah 41:10, KJV

Fear rarely announces itself as fear. It arrives as planning, as replaying, as the 3 a.m. arithmetic of everything that could go wrong. Into exactly that noise, God speaks two words: fear not.

But notice why. Not fear not, because it will all work out — rather, fear not, for I am with thee. Every reason given is presence: I am with you. I am your God. I will strengthen, help, uphold.

The promise is not a smoother road; it is a stronger hand. Whatever you are dreading this morning has not been promised victory over you. You are held — and held things do not fall.
