Priscilla

Priscilla and her husband Aquila were tentmakers and teachers, close co-workers of Paul who risked their own necks for his life. Notably, Priscilla is usually named first — and together they took the eloquent young preacher Apollos and expounded unto him the way of God more perfectly.

A church met in their house. Priscilla is a shining New Testament example of a woman gifted in teaching and hospitality, laboring side by side with her husband for the gospel.

Priscilla is an elegant, vintage classic — sometimes shortened warmly to Prissy or Cilla.
