God's promises are not vague hopes; they are commitments made by a God who cannot lie and does not forget. When everything feels uncertain, these are the solid ground to stand on.
For all the promises of God in him are yea, and in him Amen, unto the glory of God by us.
Every promise of God finds its yes in Christ.
God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do it? or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good?
Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;)

It is of the LORD's mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not. They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness.
You can build your life on what God has said. He has never once failed to keep his word, and he will not begin with you.
