Addiction is slavery that once looked like freedom — and the Bible speaks directly to chains, cravings, and the God who breaks both. These verses are for the fight, for yourself or someone you love.
If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed.

Freedom usually comes one surrendered day at a time, and often through the help God provides in people — counsellors, groups, church. Take the help, and take the promises: the chains do break.
