Kindness is not weakness in the Bible; it is strength under grace. Because God has been kind to us, we are called — and freed — to be kind to others, even when they haven't earned it.
And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you.
Put on therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, bowels of mercies, kindness, humbleness of mind, meekness, longsuffering;
