Bible Verses About the Holy Spirit
Scripture on the Comforter — the Spirit who guides, empowers, and dwells within.
The Holy Spirit is God present and at work within the believer — teaching, comforting, convicting, and empowering. Jesus called him the Comforter and promised he would never leave. These verses gather what Scripture says of him.
But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.

The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God:

You do not walk the Christian life on your own strength. The Spirit lives in you — to teach, to help you pray, and to bear fruit you could never manufacture. Ask, and rely on him.
