Scripture on the return of Christ — the blessed hope every eye will see.
The Bible ends looking forward: Christ will come again, visibly and in glory, to make all things new. It is the church's blessed hope. These verses gather the promise — a reason to watch, to comfort one another, and to be ready.
Which also said, Ye men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing up into heaven? this same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye have seen him go into heaven.
