The world offers a hundred fragile identities; the gospel gives one that holds. In Christ you are chosen, adopted, forgiven, and made new. These verses are for reminding your soul who it belongs to when everything else is shaking.
Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.
