Bible Verses About Anxiety
Scripture for anxious minds and worried hearts — verses to steady you when the day feels like too much.
Anxiety rarely knocks politely. It arrives in the small hours and the crowded afternoons, in the what-ifs that circle and won't land. The Bible does not scold the anxious heart; again and again it draws near to it, and speaks peace.
These are some of the verses people reach for most when worry is loud. Read them slowly. You might keep one for the day and let it do its quiet work.
Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.
Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.

Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.
If worry is a familiar visitor, you are not failing — and you are not alone. Scripture meets the anxious heart with patience, not pressure. Return to these verses as often as you need them; they do not run out.
