Father, thank you for my husband — for the life we share and the load he carries, so much of it quietly.
Strengthen him where he is tired. Encourage him where he is discouraged and does not say so. Let him know, deep down, that he is respected and loved — by me, and by you.
Give him integrity in his work, wisdom in his decisions, and courage to trust you with all his heart rather than lean on his own understanding.
Draw us closer to each other by drawing us both closer to you. Bless him today in some way he cannot miss. Amen.
Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.
