Father, thank you for teachers — for the patience they spend, the hours beyond the hours, and the care they pour into other people's children.
Give them stamina for long days and grace for hard classes. Renew their energy when the term drags, and guard their joy in the calling.
Give them wisdom to reach the struggling student and the difficult one, and eyes to see the quiet child who needs noticing.
Let them not grow weary in well doing, for in due season they will reap. They plant seeds in soil they may never see harvested; assure them today that not one is wasted. Amen.
