Father, you promised to give the Holy Spirit to those who ask. So I ask — fill me afresh today.
Holy Spirit, be my Comforter in sorrow, my Teacher in confusion, my Helper when I do not know how to pray. Guide me into truth and steady me in temptation.
Grow your fruit in me — love, joy, peace, patience — and give me power to live for Christ far beyond my own strength.
Have your way in me. Where I have resisted or grieved you, forgive me and lead me on. Fill every empty room in me with yourself. Amen.
